The Crowd Goes Wild at Volleyball Senior Night
Senior Night is a tradition in athletics to celebrate the seniors playing their sport. The stands are filled with the student body, friends, and families recognizing the senior players on their last year of playing. Pace High School’s volleyball team had an exciting game for Senior Night. Thursday night. Sept. 22, the Pace community celebrated the Lady Patriot Seniors: Addison Gevo, Isabella Seoane, Kaleigh Windham, and Sarah Leonard. The night was a bittersweet moment as it was a celebration but also an occasion that acknowledged the end of the senior’s high school sports career. The Patriots played Milton High School and ended the night with a win. One of the senior players, Isabella Seoane, shares, “It was so great to finally beat Milton after many losses at Senior Night.” The student section dressed as Minions to "Minion Milton" and cheered the team to victory. As the night came to an end, everyone wished the senior athletes the best for the rest of the season and good luck to them in the future.
